ABOUT
In Philosophy and Current Events Club, we would meet once a month to discuss the significance of current events happening across the globe-- including things in Raleigh and at Sanderson. The purpose of this club is to give students the opportunity to voice their opinions on recent and relevant issues. The goal is to help each other grow and develop in our understanding of the world. It is a way to stay in touch with our surroundings by delving into the importance of modern ideals and of the current circumstances of our community.

I'm Elizabeth Phillips (she/her), and I am currently in my Sophomore year at Sanderson. I partake in a multitude of clubs like, EAC, Key Club, and DECA. I'm also a part if AOF and the student Equity Team. I love to play basketball and spend time with my younger brother, Luke, and my dog--Dory.
Dylan Hemedinger

Hey PCEC members! I'm Dylan Hemedinger (he/him) and I'm a sophomore at SHS. I lead GSA and ASL Club, and I'm also on the Equity Team. I like to play piano and my main goal in life is to slowly move to Canada-- starting by going to college there.
